Kitpu First Nation update:
The kitpu First Nation as asked for help in obtaining core-funding once the Federation of Newfoundland Indians form
thier new band and no longer qualifies for core-funding. This funding is given to one group per province, so we have
to wait in line. Core-funding is important to our band because it provides venture capital and administration support,
much needed stepping stones in our struggle towards recognition and independance.
